Angry Sea

The waves are crashing,
grabbing at the shore
the sea is charging
galloping into the door
of the old beach house
where all is dark
and with a shuddering creak
the beach house is gone.
The waves are thundering
with cruel laughter
as they join in with the roaring tide
and watch the beach house drift away.
The next day in the dawning
the waves are calm,
the sprinkling spray shows no trace
of the excitement of the day before.

Hope

The flowers in bloom,
The path that leads to nowhere
Is bright through the gloom

Cold Rain

rain pours
falling slowly and consuming the warmth
hitting the ground, everything will soon be
soaking and wet

Rainy Day

Warm home, I think as I make a dash,
the rain's falling hard now, splash, splash, splash.
I open the door and go inside,
the thunder starts so I go and hide

The Sea

The sea is sleepy today,
caressing me with its gentle breath,
as it rises and falls, silent as death.
It tosses and turns with hardly a sound,
its smooth touch reaching for ground.
It lures and entrances,
It calls and begs,
for the helpless and weak,
to strengthen her bed.
With dark blue sheets,
that sparkle and roll,
And by seeing the sea it gives me hope,
that dark can be light
and light can be dark
and to live each day strongly
for it might be your last.

Hungry Seagulls

Soaring above the sea,
serenely watching everybody.
Sshh the waves whisper,
before they crash on the shore,
Calmly without anger.
The seagulls dive,
and eat without bother.
From the hotdog stand,
there are scraps of food,
strewn over the ground
and the seagulls eat them
without a sound.
